The aim of this programme is to upskill the cytologist in the area of molecular cytopathology in the context of moving towards HPV primary screening.

Students will participate in a series of one-day teaching sessions covering a range of topics including: HPV testing, HPV vaccination, molecular biomarkers in cervical screening, epidemiology and pathogenesis of cervical cancer, new screening algorithms, quality assurance, health economics and the psychosocial impact of screening
