The British Association for Cytopathology (BAC) was formed in 2011 by the merger of two previous societies, the BSCC (British Society for Clinical Cytology) and the NAC (National Association of Cytologists). The BAC represents cytology in all its forms within the UK and globally, working closely with other relevant societies, national bodies and government departments.
