This BAC seminar and workshop offers a unique opportunity for professionals within the cervical screening programme to engage with their peers to discuss and learn more about the invasive audit process.

Aimed at all cytologists who undertake cytology slide reviews for cancer audits, CSPLs and clinicians involved in disclosing audit results.

Morning session - presentations on the audit process & programme requirements, a clinical perspective on disclosing audit results to patients, and a legal perspective on what it means to patients and legal colleagues. Speakers: Philippa Pearmain, Dr Julia Palmer and Matthew Trinder.

Afternoon session - slide review workshop of audit cases and a group discussion on audit classifications - are we classifying the audit outcomes the same way?
