BAC Webinar - Changes in treatment due to molecular testing

Mary Jones is a senior BMS working at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. She is an expert in immunohistochemistry having specialised in this field for over 20 years. She manages both local and centralised testing of histology and cytology samples for genomics analysis which is used to predict treatment options for patients with solid tumours and haematological malignancies.

This presentation is a run through of the advancements in treatment options for cancer patients based on predictive genomic markers. It will focus on local testing and centralised testing and in large, the pre-analytical factors that can affect optimal genomics reporting using cytology samples for analysis.
