BAC Executive Ballot 2021
The BAC are delighted with the response from members calling for nominations to the Executive
There are three seats available and six nominations. The BAC constitution obliges us that the Association shall have an Executive consisting of 12 elected members excluding the President. A minimum of 4 of these will be non-medically qualified persons actively practicing in the field of cytology and a minimum of 4 of these will be medically qualified persons actively practicing in the field of cytology. Therefore, in this election, due to the current Executive membership, we will need to elect the highest scoring medical member, wherever they are in the ranking.
The BAC have commissioned a professional on-line ballot organisation to run the Election, and members will receive a link to a voting platform. If you do not receive a link by the end of August, please contact the BAC officer Christian Burt
To inform your decision, the candidates also sent their reasoning for standing for election which is downloadable and this will also be contained within the on-line voting platform
