🎤 Cervical Screening in the HPV Era: Correlation, Discordance and the Unexpected 

A Consultant Pathologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, Lead Gynaecological Pathologist for the Northern Gynaecological Oncology Centre, and Lead Pathologist for the North East and Yorkshire Cervical Screening Centre, Angela brings over 15 years of experience in gynaecological histology and cytology. 

This fascinating case-based session will explore cervical cytology-histology correlation through challenging and unusual cases, examining both concordant and discordant findings and the important diagnostic lessons they provide. 

As HPV primary screening and vaccination continue to reshape cervical cancer prevention, Angela will discuss uncommon lesions, unusual cervical malignancies and the importance of maintaining morphological expertise as disease patterns evolve.
